Wasn't prepared to like this one as Ennio Morricone is my man for composing movie scores ("The Mission" still moves me greatly, which contains "Gabriels' Oboe," which is ethereal, haunting, and amazing). So, well, John Williams has entered that great composer pantheon with this soundtrack. Mix of African drums and voices with European classical instruments, which blend so well here, under his mastery. This is haunting, lovely music, especially the lovely African voices.
